Arc System Works unveiled the highly anticipated release date for Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes at this year’s Tokyo Game Show in 2023.

The Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes release date is set for January 25, 2024. Fans can look forward to experiencing the game on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Arc System Works revealed that the game will feature 21 returning characters from previous installments, with additional new characters to be unveiled in the future. The new installment also introduces fresh character abilities and incorporates rollback netcode, a remarkable technique employed to minimize lag in online fighting games.

The Under Night In-Birth series initially commenced with Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late back in 2014, following its successful arcade debut a year earlier. Since then, the franchise has seen two sequels, with the most recent being Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] released in 2020.
