Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were originally launched in 2022 for the Nintendo Switch, marking the beginning of the ninth generation of Pokemon games. These games introduced players to a whole host of new Pokemon, including the starter Pokemon Fuecoco, Sprigatito, and Quaxly. Notably, they are the first mainline titles in the series to feature a fully open world.

The excitement doesn’t end with the base games! The two-part The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC expansion continues the storyline of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, introducing new characters, explorable locations, and additional Pokemon. This includes the highly sought-after Blood Moon Ursaluna as well as all the starter Pokemon from previous generations.
The first part of the expansion, The Teal Mask, was released on September 13, with the second part, The Indigo Mask, planned for release sometime this winter.
