We Hope You’re Ready: Gothic II Complete Classic Coming to Nintendo Switch Soon

Get ready, Switch players! If you’ve enjoyed playing Gothic Classic, you’ll be thrilled to know that the highly anticipated sequel is on its way to the console very soon.

THQ Nordic has recently unveiled that Gothic II Complete Classic, a port of the sequel to the beloved PC RPG Gothic, will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch on November 29, 2023. This release includes the Night of the Raven expansion, which introduces a brand new region, along with new weapons, skills, enemies, and quests.

Developed by Piranha Bytes, a German studio, Gothic II Complete Classic follows the story of the Nameless Hero, picking up weeks after the events of the first game. As evil forces continue to grow in the land of Khorinis, you must embark on a quest to find the Eye of Innos in order to save the world and help those in need.

The sequel builds upon the foundations laid in the first game and garnered recognition with multiple nominations for “Best RPG” awards upon its release in 2003.

Gothic II Complete Classic will be available on the Nintendo Switch on November 29, 2023, and can be purchased for USD 29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99. An exclusive physical edition is also available on the THQ Nordic store.
