Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Warcraft Rumble, a mobile title built from the ground up for mobile devices, will be launching on Android and iOS at BlizzCon on November 3. This is an exciting development for fans of the Warcraft franchise, as it is the first Warcraft game designed specifically for mobile.
Warcraft Rumble is a strategy game where players can build armies consisting of heroes, villains, and creatures from the Warcraft universe. The game offers a variety of game modes, including dungeons, strategic puzzles, and PVP battles, putting players’ strategy skills to the test. With its unique gameplay and mobile accessibility, Warcraft Rumble promises to bring the joy of Azeroth to the palm of your hand.
Before the official launch, Warcraft Rumble went through a closed beta phase and a soft launch in select regions worldwide on August 18. The feedback from players who participated in the closed beta has been positive, and the ongoing regional soft launch has been invigorating for the development team.
“Warcraft Rumble is a joyful (and mobile!) expression of the greatest hits of Azeroth, lovingly crafted by a team with deep roots in the Warcraft universe,” said Warcraft Rumble executive producer Vik Saraf. “Thanks to the support of players who participated in our closed beta, our ongoing regional soft launch has been invigorating, and now it’s time to let the rest of the world join in the fun. We can’t wait to get Warcraft Rumble into players’ hands worldwide on November 3. We’re confident that whether you’re new to the Warcraft universe or a long-time veteran, you’ll find the perfect army to unleash your personal brand of joyful chaos!”
To celebrate the launch of Warcraft Rumble, Blizzard will be giving away free 3D-printer blueprint for Warcraft Rumble minis every Monday throughout October. Each week will feature a new group of minis, along with tips and tricks on how to use their unique strengths in-game. This is a great opportunity for fans to collect their favorite Warcraft characters in mini form.
Additionally, Blizzard is offering incentives for early adoption of Warcraft Rumble. Players who complete the tutorial within two weeks of the game’s launch will receive sets of mecha-themed cosmetics. These cosmetics will allow players to customize their in-game experience and showcase their dedication to the game.
Blizzard is also promoting Warcraft Rumble within World of Warcraft itself. They have brought Warcraft Rumble arcade machines into taverns in the game, giving players the chance to earn rumble coins and rumble foils. These in-game rewards can be used to unlock and customize collectible minis from Warcraft Rumble, further bridging the gap between the two Warcraft experiences.
More information about Warcraft Rumble will be revealed at BlizzCon, which will take place at the Anaheim Convention Centre. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be streamed live at BlizzCon.com, allowing fans from all over the world to stay up to date with the latest news and announcements.
