AC Mirage Player Count In Line With Origins And Odyssey, Biggest New-Gen Ubisoft Launch

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Receives Positive Reception and Impressive Sales

Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the latest installment in the beloved gaming franchise, has received tremendous praise from both critics and fans. The game, which returned to the series’ roots, has captivated players on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Unlike its predecessors, Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, Mirage offers a more condensed and focused adventure, deviating from the open-world RPG formula. The positive response has been so overwhelming that Ubisoft proudly announced that Mirage’s player count matches that of Origins and Odyssey, showcasing its popularity among gamers. Furthermore, Ubisoft proclaimed Mirage as their most successful new-gen launch in terms of sales.

In addition to this exciting news, Ubisoft shared some fascinating statistics about the accomplishments of Mirage players within just six days:

  • 479 collective years spent parkouring the rooftops of Baghdad
  • 60 million Leaps of Faith
  • 1.2 million street cats pet

Regarding the game’s performance, Ubisoft expressed their gratitude in a statement: “With the number of players in line with past successful launches such as Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, we are humbled by the positive reception. We are proud to also share that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the biggest New Gen launch in terms of unit sales to date at Ubisoft (PS5, Xbox Series X/S). A big congratulations to the Bordeaux Studio and all its partners in the project for this accomplishment.”
