What is a Party Challenge in Pokemon GO?

Before we dive into the Party Challenges, let’s first explain what they are. To access the Party Challenges, tap on your avatar located at the bottom left corner of the screen. You’ll notice a new menu called ‘Party’ next to ‘Friends’.

In the Party Menu, you have the option to create or join a Party with up to four Trainers. If you create the Party, a QR code will appear on your screen. Can I Complete Party Challenges as a Solo Player?

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to complete Party Challenges alone without a workaround. If you attempt to create a Party with just one player, a message will appear indicating that you need at least 2 Trainers. While this may frustrate players who prefer a clean Task Page, it makes sense as the Welcome Party aims to showcase the Party feature.
