Pokemon GO: How to Complete All 10 Party Challenges in the Welcome Party

Pokemon GO has always provided Trainers with various ways to interact with each other, from Gyms to PvP Leagues and Raids. The Party system adds another layer of gameplay, allowing Trainers to team up and complete challenges together. This guide will walk you through how to complete all 10 Party Challenges in Pokemon GO’s Welcome Party.

What is a Party Challenge in Pokemon GO?

Before we dive into the Party Challenges, let’s first explain what they are. To access the Party Challenges, tap on your avatar located at the bottom left corner of the screen. You’ll notice a new menu called ‘Party’ next to ‘Friends’.

In the Party Menu, you have the option to create or join a Party with up to four Trainers. If you create the Party, a QR code will appear on your screen. By pressing Join, your camera will open for you to scan one of these codes. Once all Trainers have joined the Party, their avatars will be visible on the world map.

As the Party Leader, you have the power to choose tasks for your team to complete, which are known as Party Challenges.

The Party Leader is responsible for choosing the Challenges, and it’s up to them to decide which missions your team will tackle. The Challenges themselves are fairly straightforward and may include tasks such as catching a certain number of Pokemon, making excellent throws, catching weather-boosted Pokemon, and winning raids.

While these Challenges may seem demanding, they are designed to be a team effort. Most of them are intended to be completed while you’re out and about, so you may find it challenging to accomplish them if you’re stationary at home. Although you can meet the catch quotas without traveling, Challenges like winning multiple raids may pose a problem.

To complete the Welcome Party Task, simply finish 10 Challenges with your friends. Keep in mind that the Party will automatically close after an hour. Once it closes, you’ll be shown some statistics about your session, adding a nice touch to the experience. Don’t worry, though, as you can immediately open a new Party after the previous one ends.

Can I Complete Party Challenges as a Solo Player?

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to complete Party Challenges alone without a workaround. If you attempt to create a Party with just one player, a message will appear indicating that you need at least 2 Trainers. While this may frustrate players who prefer a clean Task Page, it makes sense as the Welcome Party aims to showcase the Party feature.

Now that you know how to complete all 10 Party Challenges in Pokemon GO’s Welcome Party, gather your friends and embark on this adventure together!
