The Xbox Store Leaks Mortal Kombat 1’s Omni-Man DLC Early Access Release Date
According to a listing on the Xbox Store, the early access release date for Mortal Kombat 1’s Omni-Man DLC has been leaked. While WB Games and NetherRealm Studios have only provided a release window of early November, the Xbox Store narrows it down to November 6. This information was shared by insider thethiny on Twitter, and it aligns with a previous leak from PlayStation Support.
Mortal Kombat 1 Omni-Man DLC is part of Kombat Pack
The leaked Xbox Store listing confirms that the Omni-Man DLC is part of the Kombat Pack. Fans can expect to gain early access to the DLC on November 6. This news comes following speculations and predictions made by PlayStation Support.
The Omni-Man DLC introduces a new playable character voiced by J. K. Simmons. NetherRealm has hinted at a “formidable moveset and powerful abilities” for this fighter, adding to the excitement of Mortal Kombat 1 fans.
In addition to the Omni-Man DLC, the Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack includes several other characters scheduled for release at different times. Players can expect the addition of Quan Chi in Winter 2023/early 2024, Ermac in Spring 2024, and Takeda Takahashi in Summer 2024. The Kombat Pack will also feature guest characters, including Peacemaker in Winter 2023/early 2024 and Homelander in Spring 2024. Furthermore, Kameo fighters such as Tremor (November 2023), Ferra, Janet Cage, Khameleon, and Mavado will be added, although the release windows for these Kameo fighters, except for Tremor, have yet to be confirmed.
It’s worth noting that all playable characters and Kameo fighters included in the Kombat Pack will be available for individual purchase as well. The Kombat Pack itself is priced at $39.99, unless players have already purchased Mortal Kombat 1’s Premium Edition.
