Insomniac Games Teases Daredevil Easter Egg in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Insomniac Games Senior Creative Director Bryan Intihar has revealed that there is a hidden reason behind a certain Daredevil Easter egg in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
In Marvel’s Spider-Man, Nelson and Murdock’s law practice in Hell’s Kitchen featured a plaque on its door. However, in the recently released sequel, players noticed that the plaque is now missing and there is a pink eviction notice instead.
When questioned about this change on IGN’s Beyond podcast, Intihar confirmed that it was a deliberate choice and dropped a hint about potential future content.
“That’s a good question,” Intihar responded. “Stay tuned. Good find though.”
Which games come before Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the latest installment in the franchise and is exclusively available on the PlayStation 5. It serves as the sequel to both Marvel’s Spider-Man (2018) and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020).
The game, developed by Insomniac Games, will introduce popular Spider-Man villains such as Kraven the Hunter and Venom, voiced by Candyman star Tony Todd. The trailers released have showcased the Symbiote’s enhanced abilities and hinted at Peter’s growing aggression due to its influence.
