When asked if he would consider working on something different, Lake responded, “Yeah. I’m still thinking that I will. There will be a time when I retire. It’s just that… this has all been so engaging.”

As for the stories he wants to share, Lake mentioned a “crazy, huge budget, dark gothic fantasy” that he has not yet utilized in any of his projects.

The visuals of Alan Wake 2 have been highly praised by Digital Foundry, stating, “From a visual perspective though, Alan Wake 2 is an extraordinary effort. On current-gen consoles, there’s not much that can rival the incredible density of detail and fine-grained lighting on display here.”

While there are some performance issues that need further attention, Alan Wake 2 offers an impressive and visually stunning experience. It comes with a strong recommendation, especially for fans of survival horror who want to witness the best technology of this generation.
