Super Mario RPG: How to Complete the Sunken Ship Puzzles

Completing the Sunken Ship Password Puzzle in Super Mario RPG can be quite a challenge. To help you out, we have put together a guide to walk you through the process of solving all six smaller Puzzles and ultimately cracking the main Puzzle using a password.

Door 1 – Iron Ball

When you enter the room, you will see a Koopa Paratroopa flying and an Iron Ball on top of a few blocks. Take advantage of the enemy’s movements to drop the ball over the green button. The clue you will receive is “There is an ‘S’ in the word.”

Door 2 – Spring

To solve this puzzle, jump and hit the blocks to stop the springs. The clue you will receive for this door is “It is found on the bed of the ocean.”

Door 3 – 3D Maze

This maze is the most challenging of the six. Try jumping when you encounter an obstacle to navigate the maze. The clue you will receive is “It has two vowels.”

Door 4 – Coin Collection

Follow and collect the coins that spawn from the first coin to receive the clue “It is very valuable.”

Door 5 – Cannonball

Hit the iron balls into their designated blocks to receive the clue “‘It’ is actually a ‘they.’”

Door 6 – Barrel

Climb on top of the barrels and properly adjust them on the buttons to receive the clue “The “R’ comes before the “L”.

The Sunken Ship Password Puzzle Answer

In this room, you will need to enter the password ‘PEARLS’ by selecting the corresponding letters for each numbered block. Once the password is confirmed, you can proceed to fight the tough enemy boss King Calamari and defeat him.
