CD Projekt Red Announces Mod Editor for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

CD Projekt Red has had a busy year with the release of Phantom Liberty, the first and only expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, as well as the debut of its soundtrack on streaming services. The company has also revealed plans for a live-action Cyberpunk project and recently received four nominations for The Game Awards 2023. Now, CDPR has announced that it is working on a mod editor for The Witcher 3 that will be available on PC for free in 2024.

The official Witcher Twitter account tweeted, “We’re thrilled to announce that we’re working on a mod editor for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It will allow you to create your own experiences in the game by making something completely new or editing existing quests and content. We’re planning on releasing it for free in 2024.”

Notably, CDPR has confirmed that the mod editor for The Witcher 3 will only be available on PC. This exciting announcement opens up the possibility for players to create their own fantasy adventures within the game, featuring the beloved monster hunter.
