Developer Massive Monster has revealed that the next major content update for Cult of the Lamb will be titled Sins of the Flesh.
This upcoming update will be provided to players for free and is expected to be released “very early next year,” promising to bring “new features, stories, and more.”
Although specific details about the content update have not been disclosed, the developer has urged fans to stay tuned for more information on Sins of the Flesh in the coming weeks. According to the developer, there have been numerous hints about the update over the past year, and fans are encouraged to start searching for clues to uncover what they think will be included.
On Twitter, the developer also stated, “We have been working extremely hard on this update, and there is soooo much more content coming to the game!”
In addition to the scheduled update, Cult of the Lamb is currently on sale for 40% off on the Steam Autumn sale, which Massive Monster is calling “one of the BIGGEST sales we have done.” The base game is currently priced at $14.75 (£11.69), reduced from $24.60 (£19.50). Cult of the Lamb has been recognized as one of the best roguelike games in recent years and is accessible on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
