Destiny 2 Exotic Sidearm, Buried Bloodline, is a weapon worth the effort to obtain. The Catalyst for Buried Bloodline is a game-changer, enhancing the weapon’s perks and abilities. Here’s how to obtain the Buried Bloodline Catalyst and complete the associated puzzle in Destiny 2’s Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon.
Obtaining the Buried Bloodline Catalyst
The first step to obtaining the Buried Bloodline Catalyst is to obtain the Buried Bloodline Exotic Sidearm from the Destiny 2 Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon. This weapon can be quite difficult to obtain due to the game’s weekly RNG system. Once you have the Buried Bloodline, you’ll need to complete the “In the Shadow of the Mountain” quest which requires you to farm Dark Ether Tincture, acquire Blighted Wishing Glass from bosses and chests, and collect all Hefnd’s Bones.
After obtaining Buried Bloodline and completing the “In the Shadow of the Mountain” quest, you can start the puzzle required to obtain the Buried Bloodline Catalyst. This puzzle consists of three parts with a boss fight at the end.
Completing the Prison Puzzle
The first puzzle to complete is located in the prison, accessed after defeating the first boss. You’ll need to shoot a Taken Blight with Buried Bloodline to light up torches, indicating the order of the Taken Totems in the cells. This will grant you the first part of the puzzle and allow you to move on to the next.
Completing the Bridge Puzzle
The second puzzle is located before the sewer on the bridge section. By shooting a Taken Blight and arranging the Taken Totems as indicated by the torches, you’ll complete the second part of the puzzle.
Completing the Stone Door Puzzle
The final puzzle for the Buried Bloodline Catalyst is located at the mountainous spire with stone doors and a Taken Blight. By shooting the correct Blight and arranging the Taken Totems accordingly, you’ll complete the puzzle and gain access to the final boss.
Defeating Primeval Thressia
Once at the spire that leads to the final boss, initiate the DPS phase by activating the Taken Totems around the room as indicated by the torches. This will begin the battle against Primeval Thressia, Font of Blight. Repeat this process until the boss is defeated to obtain the Buried Bloodline Catalyst.
Obtaining the Buried Bloodline Catalyst in Destiny 2’s Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon can be challenging, but the weapon’s enhanced abilities and perks make it well worth the effort.
