Modern Warfare Zombies: How to unlock the Dog Bone Schematic

For the Modern Warfare Zombies fan, obtaining the Dog Bone Schematic is
no easy feat, but it’s a rewarding one. The Schematic allows you to
summon a Hellhound companion to assist you in defeating zombies. This guide
will help you unlock the Dog Bone Schematic and maximize your zombie-slaying
capabilities.

To unlock the Dog Bone Schematic, you’ll need to complete the “Bad Signal”
mission, which is part of Act 4. This new mission was introduced with the
arrival of Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 and immerses players in the Dark
Aether, the realm where the Dog Bone Schematic can be found.

Completing the Easter Egg Quest

After finishing the “Bad Signal” mission, you’ll be able to return to the
Dark Aether by completing a small Easter Egg Quest that involves obtaining
four different sigils. These are:

• Locked Diary: Defeat the Dark Aether worm boss and collect it in the Reward Rift.
• Security Camera: Shoot a Harvester Orb with a Dead Wire weapon. Complete the following bounty to upgrade it.
• Pill Bottle: Shoot an Aether Cyst with a Brain Rot weapon. Complete the following bounty to upgrade it.
• Dog Collar: Visit a Dog House and leave one Chunk of Meat and a Molotov. Complete the following bounty to upgrade it.

Opening the Way to A Higher-Tier Realm

Once inside the Dark Aether, completing contracts will reward you with
special sigils. A normal sigil will open the way to the Dark Aether,
allowing you to bypass the Easter Egg Quest. An Elder Sigil, on the other
hand, will open the way to a higher-tier version of the realm, known as the
Elder Dark Aether.

Obtaining the Dog Bone Schematic

The Elder Dark Aether is an extremely difficult dimension, but conquering
it is essential for acquiring the Dog Bone Schematic. Completing contracts
within this realm will allow you to unlock the Schematic. Once obtained,
exfil with the Schematic to secure it as a part of your arsenal.
