Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disk DLC Iron Boulder Encounter

Looking to add Iron Boulder to your Pokémon team in Scarlet and Violet? This Paradox Pokémon can be a tough catch, but with some effort, you’ll have this juggernaut on your side in no time. Here’s how to find Iron Boulder in The Indigo Disk DLC.

  • Complete the Teal Mask quest called Bloodmon Ursulana to meet Perrin in Mossui Town in Kitakami.
  • Capture and register 200 Pokémon in your Blueberry Pokedex by exploring the Blueberry Academy Terrarium and spending BP on Poke Balls.
  • Visit Savanna Rest Area 1 after completing the Pokedex to meet Perrin and receive a picture of Iron Boulder.

Once you’ve completed these milestones, head to Area Zero. Fast-travel to Research Station 2, drop down to the level below, and you’ll find Iron Boulder waiting for you. Just be sure to use special Poke Balls and avoid using water, grass, ground, bug, ghost, dark, and steel attacks to capture this formidable Pokémon.
