Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: Clearing the Cristal to Access Area Zero Depths in The Indigo Disk
Before embarking on the journey to find the Area Zero Underdepths in The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, it’s important to note that progressing through the main story is necessary to access this area. You will need the actual Indigo Disk to gain access, which means investing some time. Once you’ve collected it, head to Research Station 4 to unlock the Zero Lab.
The Indigo Disk will fit in the Zero Lab panel, granting access to the Area Zero Underdepths. Here, you will encounter a large terrastalized crystal obstructing your path. This is the first of many, but removing it will pave the way to deal with the others.
You’ll need to defeat a Stellar Glimmora, a terrastalized Glimmorra. Its Stellar Type won’t affect its weaknesses but will amplify the impact of all its attacks.
Terrastalized Glimmora Fight
Pokémon | Type | Abilities | Weaknesses |
---|---|---|---|
Glimmora | Rock/Poison Stellar (Terrastalized) | Toxic Debris: If hit with a physical move, the Glimmora will scatter Toxic Spikes in the opposing field. Will activate two times maximum. Corrosion: Will poison Steel and Poison-type Pokémon. | 4x Ground 2x Water 2x Psychic 2x Steel |
There are specific Pokémon that can deal significant damage to the Glimora. For example, Ground/Water-type Pokémon such as Swampert or Ground/Steel-types like Excadril can exploit Glimmora’s weaknesses. It’s best to avoid Steel-type Pokémon since Corrosion can poison them, and Psychic-types aren’t as effective at exploiting Glimmora’s weaknesses. Prioritizing DPS is crucial to remove the Terrastalized property of the Glimmora, making it less effective in dealing super-effective attacks. Keep delivering sustained damage, and you’ll succeed.
You will encounter more crystals blocking your path as you explore deeper into the Area Zero Underdepths. Defeat Stellar Pokémon to eliminate these crystals. It’s essential to prioritize DPS and exploit the Pokémon’s weaknesses, similar to what you did with Glimmora. Consistently doing so will allow you to progress consistently!
