How to Find Groudon in Pokemon SV Indigo Disk

Groudon is located inside the Alfornada Cavern west of Alfornada in Pokemon SV Indigo Disk. The visually striking Pokemon is relatively easy to spot within the cavern due to its bright red color. However, there are specific prerequisites to fulfill in order to capture it. In Pokemon SV Indigo Disk, capturing any legendary Pokemon requires completion of the main game campaign as well as the DLC.

After completing the campaign, players will encounter an NPC named Snacksworth at the entrance of the Blueberry Academy once the credits roll. Interaction with him will reveal information about himself and the legendary Pokemon snacks. Players will need to complete blueberry quests through which Snacksworth will provide specific legendary treats used to summon Pokemon in Paldea.

For players with Pokemon Scarlet, obtaining Groudon’s treat is straightforward – completing 10 Blueberry Solo quests will yield the Groudon Treat. However, for players with Pokemon Violet, a group quest must be completed to acquire the treat. Even after completing the quests, Snacksworth hands over treats randomly. Players must continue completing the quests until they receive the Groudon Treat in order to summon the Pokemon in the Indigo Disk.

Once the treat is obtained, players can head towards Alfornada, specifically to the west part of the town near the gym. The Alfornada Cavern can be found in this location within the game. With the Groudon Treat in hand, the Pokemon will be waiting inside the cavern to be captured.
