Fallout: London, The Expansive Fallout 4 Overhaul Mod, Gets April Release Date In New Trailer

Team FOLON announces release date for Fallout: London mod

Back in 2021, Team FOLON revealed Fallout: London, a DLC-sized mod for Fallout 4, that quickly captured the interest of players. Originally slated for release in 2023, the mod needed more time and missed its initial release window. However, Team FOLON has now announced that Fallout: London will be released on April 23, 2024, as reported by Eurogamer.

Release Date Announcement

In a developer update released on December 23, the team announced the official release date and showcased the progress made since the last trailer. This update featured well-known and lesser-known locales of London, as well as enemies, weapons, and more, culminating in the April 23, 2024, release date announcement.

Additionally, Team FOLON posted a statement on Twitter, addressing the reasons behind the delayed release date. The team acknowledged that despite being content-complete as planned, their testing process was not as robust as desired due to the impact of conflict in the region on the scripting team. As a result, they had to reorganize and reskill team members to catch up, sacrificing testing in the process.

New Release Date

With the new release date set for April 23, 2024, Team FOLON notes that this also aligns the release of Fallout: London closer to the premiere of Amazon Studios’ Fallout TV series, which is set to debut on April 12.
