Destiny 2: How to Obtain the Apex Predator
You may not be reliant on RNG, but your skill is what will determine whether you are able to acquire a new legendary weapon in your arsenal. Here’s how to obtain the Apex Predator in Destiny 2.
Introduction to Apex Predator
The Apex Predator is a legendary Solar rocket launcher that became available during Season 21 of Destiny 2, known as the Season of the Deep. It is an adaptive frame weapon, making it particularly reliable and robust, with an excellent selection of perks that make it suitable for both PVE and PVP. It is also a craftable weapon, allowing you to manually select the best perks from the pool. However, obtaining the Apex Predator, particularly the Deepsight version, is quite challenging due to difficulty and timing. The Apex Predator is a Last Wish raid weapon, which means it only drops when this specific raid is under rotation, making it a rare drop. Nevertheless, the advantage of it dropping from the first encounter makes it somewhat more accessible.
Availability
Last Wish raid availability may change depending on the current raid rotation. It was last featured from November 28 to December 5, 2023, and will be featured on the following dates:
- January 16 to January 23, 2024.
- March 5 to March 12, 2024.
- April 23 to April 30, 2024.
