According to Tom Henderson, who initially leaked the news about the PS5 Pro, the upgraded console is expected to be released in late 2024. Barring any changes to Sony’s plans, Henderson anticipates an announcement from the company sometime in Q3 2024, aligning with their historical patterns of product announcements. It is unlikely that Sony will provide any information regarding the PS5 Pro, including specifications or release date, during the CES 2024 presentation scheduled for January 8.

It seems like everyone is hyped that the PS5 Pro might be announced at CES. Personally, I’d be surprised if they were to announce a new console 9-10 months from release if that’s the timeline they are still going with. So I’m more inclined to believe a late Q3 announcement.
