Raft – How to Make Dry Brick

How to Make Dry Bricks in Raft

Dry Brick is an essential material for crafting Smelters in the early stages of Raft. To progress in the game, you’ll need at least 7 Dry Bricks.

Players often struggle to figure out how to obtain Dry Bricks, as there is no apparent recipe for them and diving attempts yield no results.

So, how can you turn Wet Bricks into Dry Bricks? Do you just wait it out? And if so, for how long?

To make Dry Bricks in Raft, follow these steps:

  1. Craft Wet Bricks using Sand and Clay in the crafting menu.
  2. Place the Wet Bricks on your raft.
  3. After 5 minutes, the Wet Bricks will dry and turn into Dry Bricks, regardless of the weather or wave conditions.

How to Make Dry Bricks in Raft

Drying Wet Bricks is the only method for obtaining Dry Bricks in Raft.

To obtain Wet Bricks, open the crafting menu by pressing the “Tab” key and locate the Resource tab. Here, you’ll find the crafting recipe for Wet Bricks, which requires 2 Sand and 2 Clay.

After crafting a Wet Brick, place it anywhere on your raft, preferably near the center to avoid the shark destroying it.

Every Wet Brick placed on the raft will become a Dry Brick after 5 minutes.

You don’t need to place Wet Bricks in a closed room or on the second floor, as rain and high waves won’t affect the drying process. They will always turn into Dry Bricks after 5 minutes, regardless of the conditions.

Since Wet Bricks don’t have any uses themselves currently, it’s best to place them on your raft as soon as possible to turn them into Dry Bricks for crafting and research purposes.
