How to Stop Pals From Slacking off in Palworld

It can be a challenge to keep your base running smoothly in Palworld, especially when some of your Pals are slacking off and neglecting their tasks. If you’re facing this issue, read on to learn how to address it.

Understanding the Palworld Sanity Stat

One of the common reasons for Pal slackness is the Slacker trait. You can check your Pals’ passive skills in the Palbox to see if they have this trait.

During my gameplay, I had a Depresso Pal who often slacked off due to the Slacker trait. I had to replace it with another Depresso Pal without this trait to maintain productivity.

Another cause of Pal slacking is low Sanity. Keeping an eye on this stat underneath their Hunger bar is crucial. If their SAN gets too low, Pals may become sick or slack off.

To restore their Sanity, consider constructing a Hot Spring in your base, which becomes available at level 9. At level 31, you can unlock the High-Quality Hot Spring for improved results.

Additionally, building Fluffy Pal Beds at level 24 is a good strategy to help your Pals recover more Sanity while resting at night.
