How to get the Somewhere Over the Rainbow Achievement in Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth

Infinite Wealth Somewhere Over the Rainbow Trophy Guide

Completing the trophy/achievement list in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth can be quite manageable, but there are a few minor trophies that can be frustrating to obtain. Somewhere Over the Rainbow is one of these achievements.

To earn the Somewhere Over the Rainbow trophy in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, you simply need to photograph a rainbow in the skies of Hawaii. While it may sound simple, the weather in Infinite Wealth is completely random and the rainbow doesn’t always appear as expected. Additionally, the rainbow is not visible from every part of Hawaii, so being in the right place at the right time is crucial.

Rainbows appear after it rains in Hawaii. Rain occurs randomly when exploring Honolulu, but it doesn’t last for very long and there’s no way to force the weather to change. Since a rainbow only appears in the sky for a short period of time after it rains and the rain is fleeting, you’ll need to be prepared whenever the rain starts to avoid missing your chance.

The best place to see a rainbow after it rains is Aloha Beach on the southern coast of the city. After it rains, the rainbow will appear in the sky to the east. It’s a pretty vertical rainbow, so it can be hard to spot unless you’re already looking in the right direction. The bright Hawaiian sky makes it easy to miss, so keep a close eye out when you’re panning the camera.

Once you see the rainbow, just press up on the D-Pad to pull out your camera and snap a photo of it to earn this trophy/achievement. Make sure the rainbow is in frame and you’ve zoomed in a little bit to make it the focal point of the photo, otherwise the achievement won’t unlock.

While the best place to see the rainbow is Aloha Beach, you can still view it from other places in Hawaii as long as you have a clear view of the sky. We suggest immediately opening your map and using a taxi to fast travel to Aloha Beach once it starts raining in Infinite Wealth so you don’t miss your chance to earn this trophy.

Thankfully, this achievement is one of the only frustrating ones on the path to 100% completion in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. You’ll still need to put in a lot of work to earn the Platinum Trophy or maximize your Gamerscore, but the rest of the process is pretty straightforward as long as you don’t mind leveling up Jobs and grinding for XP.
