Palworld creator Pocketpair says it is “overwhelmingly short of people” in an appeal for more developers

Palworld creator Pocketpair is seeking developers to help maintain the momentum of its viral game, acknowledging that the company is “overwhelmingly short” of necessary talent.

In a recent tweet on the company’s Japanese-language X/Twitter account, it was stated that Pocketpair “still has a lot to do” and is actively searching for individuals experienced in “any type of engine” for “all positions.” Specifically, the studio is particularly interested in connecting with developers who have proficiency in project planning and engineering.

“At Palworld, we still have a lot to do, but we are overwhelmingly short of people to join us!” Pocketpair expressed, as translated by PC Gamer. “We are looking for people for all positions, but we are especially looking for planning and engineers!

“We are looking for people with experience in any type of engine, so if you are interested in creating a completely new type of game, please apply!”

Following the recent release of a patch that addresses Pal exhaustion from breeding, Pocketpair has also resolved game crashes associated with large number of Pals and implemented anti-cheat measures, although specifics were not detailed.
