Epic Games and The Lego Group have teamed up to bring players a fresh set of experiences in Lego Fortnite, launching under the new Lego Islands collection.

Starting today, players can dive into two exciting new modes: Lego Raft Survival and Lego Obby Fun, marking the beginning of a new series of play experiences within Fortnite.

Described as “kid and family-friendly,” these Lego-themed modes were crafted using Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) and are inspired by the favorite childhood memories of Lego Group developers.

In Lego Raft Survival, players must join forces in a multiplayer problem-solving adventure set against the backdrop of the Lego Pirates theme. They must navigate Blackbeard challenges, fend off cannon balls from the Barracuda Ship, collect resources, and build rafts to survive.

Lego Obby Fun introduces the first official Lego-themed obstacle course in Fortnite, challenging players to tackle climbing puzzles through platforming levels created by Lego designers.

Players will spawn in experiences inspired by popular Lego themes like Lego Friends, Lego City, Lego Ninjago, and Lego Dreamzzz. They can take on different challenges solo or team up with friends.

Kari Vinther Nielsen, head of play and creator growth at Lego GAME, expressed excitement about the Lego Islands series, stating, “The power of UEFN, coupled with our creative teams, allows us to bring these unique experiences to life and expand new genres in Fortnite with a Lego twist. This is just the beginning, and we look forward to introducing more throughout the year!”
