Greetings, Xbox Insiders! A new Xbox Update Preview is rolling out to the Beta ring today.

We want to emphasize that the updates in these preview OS builds focus on background improvements to ensure a stable and high-quality build for Xbox consoles. We will continue to provide release notes, even when the visible changes to the UI are minimal or behind the scenes, to keep you informed about upcoming updates for your device.

System Update Details

• OS Version: XB_FLT_2403ZN25398.3843.240228-2000
• Available: 2 p.m. PT – March 1, 2024
• Mandatory: 3 a.m. PT – March 2, 2024

Fixes Included

Thanks to the valuable feedback from Xbox Insiders and the dedication of Xbox engineers, we are pleased to announce the following fixes implemented in this update:

Games

• Resolved an issue where game saves could become inaccessible due to very long names.

My Games & Apps

• Fixed an unexpected delay that could occur when checking for recent updates for games and apps.

System

• Various updates to accurately reflect local languages throughout the console.

Known Issues

Although known issues may have been previously listed in Xbox Insider Release Notes, rest assured they are being actively addressed. It may take some time for Xbox engineers to resolve them. If you encounter any of these issues, please follow the provided guidance and submit feedback through the “Report a Problem” feature.

Audio

• Some users have reported intermittent audio problems across the dashboard, games, and apps.
  • Troubleshooting: If you experience issues, ensure your TV and equipment have the latest firmware. For further assistance, contact the manufacturer. Additional troubleshooting tips can be found here: Troubleshoot audio on your Xbox console.
  • Feedback: If issues persist after firmware updates and troubleshooting, provide feedback via Report a Problem when the problem occurs. Choose the “Reproduce with advanced diagnostics” option, then select the categories “Console experiences” and “Console Audio Output Issues.”
    • Note: Include detailed information about the issue, onset, your setup, troubleshooting steps taken, and any other relevant details to help reproduce the problem.

Networking

• We are investigating reports of connectivity issues where the console may not immediately connect to the network upon boot. If you encounter this problem, report it via Report a Problem as soon as possible.
