Best Ways to Obtain Diamond Medallions in Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2024
The class that accumulates the most Medallions in a single day emerges victorious in Guardian Games 2024. Securing Diamond Medallions, a new rarity that holds the power to sway the outcome of an entire day, is crucial for success.
To acquire a Diamond Medallion, players must obtain a Diamond Medallion Contender Card. These cards serve as both the best method for farming Medallions and the sole means of obtaining a Diamond Medallion. There are three ways to obtain Diamond Medallions in Destiny 2 Guardian Games:
- Play Dungeons or Raids
- Participate in Trials of Osiris
- Watch two hours of a Destiny 2 Twitch streamer and claim your Twitch Drop
Completing tasks in PvE endgame activities, such as Dungeons or Raids, awards a Diamond Medallion. Likewise, completing tasks in PvP endgame activities, like Trials of Osiris, also rewards a Diamond Medallion. Additionally, players can earn a Diamond Medallion by watching two hours of a Destiny 2 streamer on Twitch through a Twitch Drop.
Each week, two Diamond Contender Cards are available for players. For example, during Week 1, players can access the Twitch Drop Diamond Medallion and the Diamond Raider Contender Card, which pertains to PvE activities. To complete the Diamond Raider Contender Card, players must conquer all encounters of a Raid with a full fireteam composed of the same class.
It’s worth noting that players can only collect three Diamond Medallions per week due to their high point value. Whether obtained through PvP, PvE, or Twitch, players are limited to three Diamond Medallions weekly. Since Guardian Games 2024 spans three weeks, players can only obtain a total of nine Diamond Medallions throughout the event.
This outlines the process of farming Diamond Medallions in Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2024. While understanding the method is straightforward, executing it may present challenges. However, the task is certainly less daunting than trying to permanently retain the hoverboard once Guardian Games concludes.
