S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Details

Japanese retailers are now accepting pre-orders for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy on the PS4, marking the first time the popular survival horror series will be available on consoles.

The trilogy includes three games: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. Originally released on PC between 2007-2009, these games set the stage for the upcoming release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl on Xbox and PC on September 5, 2024.

Developed by Ukrainian game developer GSC Game World, the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series is a first-person-shooter survival horror experience. The games are set in an alternate version of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone in Ukraine, where a mysterious second Chernobyl disaster occurred in 2006.

Following the disaster, the area became a hub of anomalies, artifacts, and mutants due to the altered physical, chemical, and biological processes. Players step into the shoes of a “stalker,” individuals who brave the dangers of the exclusion zone to uncover its mysteries.

An official announcement regarding the trilogy is expected to be made today, coinciding with an Xbox Partner Preview livestream.
