Exciting news for Spider-Man 2 fans as the latest update, version 1.002, has been released, bringing a host of new features and improvements to the game. One of the most anticipated additions is the introduction of New Game Plus mode, allowing players to carry over their progression and delve into new content and upgrades.

In addition to New Game Plus, version 1.002 brings a plethora of enhancements to the base game. Players can now replay any mission at their leisure, adjust the time of day as desired, and even customize the color of their symbiote’s tendrils. The update also includes improvements to the photo mode, the addition of four new suits, and various accessibility features such as audio descriptions and new subtitle options.

Insomniac Games has split the major update into two parts, so players need to ensure both updates are installed to access all the new features. If the update doesn’t install automatically, players can manually check for updates from the main menu.

It’s worth noting that a bug introduced in this update allows access to a development menu in-game, which could potentially corrupt saves and trophy progress. Insomniac has reassured players that this issue will be addressed in an upcoming hotfix.
