Survive The Offshore Horrors Of Still Wakes The Deep This June

Upcoming Release: Still Wakes the Deep Set to Terrify Players in June

Still Wakes the Deep, the highly anticipated atmospheric horror game developed by The Chinese Room, creators of Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, has unveiled a new trailer along with a confirmed release date in June. The game was first introduced at the Xbox Games Showcase last June, promising a spine-chilling experience for players.

The latest trailer, premiered during today’s Future Game Show, sets the stage for the intense and immersive gameplay to come. Taking place in 1975, the player assumes the role of an oil rig worker stranded on a deep sea rig located off the coast of Scotland. Cut off from all communication, the rig becomes engulfed in an unknown supernatural menace. Your objective is to navigate the treacherous rig, search for your missing crew members, and evade the menacing threat while the unforgiving ocean environment relentlessly destroys the rig. In Still Wakes the Deep, players must rely on exploration and wit rather than weapons or special abilities.

Mark your calendars for June 18th, when Still Wakes the Deep will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. Additionally, the game will be available on Game Pass for both console and PC, expanding its reach to a wider audience.

Looking ahead, The Chinese Room has exciting plans in store for fans as they also helm the development of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, scheduled for release later this year. Stay tuned for more updates on their projects!
