Meet with Glyndwr
The first step to completing the Gift of the Bow in Dragons Dogma 2 is to meet with Glyndwr. I had heard him muttering about the craftsmanship of the items in the Armorer in Vernworth many times but had not paid much attention. After speaking to him, it turns out that he’s quite the fan of human made bows.
He is looking to learn from human methods of bow construction, but it wouldn’t be right for him to buy one. So, it is up to you to get one for him. However, you can’t just give him any old bow. It turns out most bows you will find in the game are made by elves.
Get a human made bow
Thankfully, you won’t need to go far to get yourself a human made bow in Dragons Dogma 2. The armourer makes them, so you can just purchase one there. Buy the cheapest one available. For me, it was the Huntsman Bow. Purchase the bow, and hand it over.
Once you have given him the bow, he will thank you and marvel at its construction. Once he has taken a look, he will invite you to his training ground to test the bow and show him how it works.
Complete Gift of The Bow Dragons Dogma 2
To complete the final stage of the quest, you will need to have the Archer Vocation. If you’re not an archer, you can’t use the bow. Change this up at the Guild if you need to before heading out.
Glyndwr has his training range north of Vernworth, by the Trevo Mine. Here, he will have you show him how to use the bow. Once you have completed this, you will receive your rewards and have completed Gift of The Bow in Dragons Dogma 2. This quest is not time-sensitive, and you will lead onto A Trial of Archery.
