Latest Xbox Update Preview for Alpha Skip-Ahead Ring

Attention Xbox Insiders! An exciting new Xbox Update Preview is rolling out today for the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring. This update includes various background improvements to ensure a stable and high-quality experience on Xbox consoles. Even if the changes to the UI are subtle, we want to keep you informed about the upcoming updates.

  • Available: 2 p.m. PT – March 22, 2024
  • Mandatory: 3 a.m. PT – March 23, 2024

System

  • Various updates to accurately display local languages across the console.

Known Issues

While some known issues may have been previously mentioned in Xbox Insider Release Notes, rest assured that they are being addressed. If you encounter any of these issues, please follow the provided guidance and submit feedback using the Report a Problem feature.

Audio

  • Intermittent audio problems reported by some users across the dashboard, games, and apps.
    • Troubleshooting: Ensure that your TV and all other equipment have the latest firmware installed. Contact the manufacturer for assistance if needed. Additional troubleshooting tips can be found here: Troubleshoot audio on your Xbox console.
    • Feedback: If issues persist after updating firmware and troubleshooting, submit feedback via Report a Problem with detailed information about the problem, setup, and when it started.

Capture & Share

  • Investigating reports of unexpected behavior when viewing HDR screenshots in the Captures app.

Networking

  • Investigating an issue where the console may not immediately connect to the network upon boot. Follow the provided workaround and report the issue via Report a Problem if needed.

Remember to use Report a Problem to report any issues encountered, as your feedback is crucial for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
