MLB The Show 24: Exciting Updates for Players

Exciting news for players of MLB The Show 24 as Season 1 of Drive to Diamond heads to New York this May. Part 2 of the Derek Jeter storyline is now available, along with the introduction of new Stadium Props and rewards in Team Affinity Chapter 3.

MLB The Show 24 releases Derek Jeter Part 2, futuristic stadium props, and Team Affinity Chapter 3

Part 2 of Derek Jeter’s storyline allows players to relive iconic moments from his career, including his famous flip throw in the 2001 American League Division Series and becoming the Yankees’ all-time hits leader. Players can also experience closing out Jeter’s legendary career with a walk-off home run in his final home game at Yankee Stadium in 2014. In addition, new player items and equipment are available for unlocking.

Adding to the excitement, the May update brings the Future City Props Kit to MLB The Show 24’s Stadium Creator. This pack includes over 75 props, such as designer diners and high-tech towers. Players can easily find these new props by searching for the “Future City” tag in the Stadium Creator.

In May, players also have the opportunity to expand their Diamond Dynasty squad with 30 new cards, all Diamond 99s. Featured players in this update include Blake Treinen, Edgar Martinez, and Ian Kinsler.

To collect these cards, players must earn Team Affinity Points to progress through Chapter 3’s six Team Affinity Divisional Programs. Various ways to earn TA Points include Single Player, Multiplayer, Boss, and Repeatable PXP Stat Missions. Players can also complete Moments and Extreme Moments, play March to October, or engage in Player Exchanges to earn TA Points.
