This sinister Omen gaming PC build just might keep you up at night

PC Builders Getting Creative with Chilling Results

PC building goes beyond a mere task for some enthusiasts. It’s a genuine hobby, and the creativity of PC builders knows no bounds, as seen with some truly chilling results.

One PC builder, highlighted by PCGamesN, has taken an Omen build to the next level by incorporating the newly released PowerColor Red Devil RX 7800 XT graphics card, resulting in a visually stunning creation.

PC builder Marios Dalainos orchestrated the build around the striking black and red mid-range graphics card, complete with its glowing red RGB lighting giving it a possessed aesthetic. What sets this build apart is the unique mounting of the GPU—suspended by asymmetric chains and locked behind bars, giving off a sinister vibe worthy of the Doom Slayer.

Despite its intimidating appearance, the machine’s specifications are quite moderate. Dalainos opted for an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X CPU paired with the RX 7800 XT variant, a 1TB Samsung 980 SSD, and TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan Z 32GB RAM clocked at 3600 MHz.

What makes this build even more intriguing is the construction process itself. Dalainos utilized modeling clay to create a dungeon-like environment for the PC, working swiftly to prevent the clay from drying out. The majority of the build time was dedicated to positioning the GPU to accentuate the design in all its eerie glory.

This is a gaming PC unlike any other, perfect for playing titles like Diablo 4, Doom Eternal, and other horror games on Steam. It’s ideal for late-night gaming sessions, as long as it doesn’t spark any nightmares.

A Change from the Standard-looking Gaming PC

While many gamers enjoy assembling PCs, there’s a sense of standardization with most components available today sporting a uniform black design with RGB lighting accents.

Custom builds like this Omen design inject a burst of color and imagination into the mix, showcasing the limitless creativity that can be unleashed with some modeling clay, a paintbrush, and a few hours of free time.
