How to Reroll Stats on Items in Diablo 4

If you ever find yourself in a situation where a gear item in Diablo 4 just doesn’t quite fit your playstyle, don’t worry. You have the option to reroll the stats on that item to better suit your needs. This guide will show you how to effectively reroll your item stats in Diablo 4 to get the perfect gear.

If you examine an item in Diablo 4, you’ll notice that it has three to four Affixes, which are secondary stats that impact your character in combat. Finding the perfect gear drops can be a challenge in Diablo 4 due to the RNG (Random Number Generator) aspect of the game, where stats are randomly generated. You may come across a gear item with excellent base stats and a perfect Aspect, only to be let down by the Affixes. The good news is that there’s a solution to this problem.

You can seek out an Occultist in most major towns throughout Sanctuary, including the main hub of Kyovashad. These vendors are valuable as they can assist you in imprinting and extracting Aspects, as well as rerolling the stats of your gear. Simply speak to an Occultist and access the right-most tab to Enchant an item. It’s worth noting that you can repeat this process multiple times until you get the desired outcome.

Enchanting items allows you to swap out an unwanted Affix with a different one. This is particularly useful for gear that is almost perfect, but could benefit from a minor tweak for a better overall build. Keep in mind that there is a cost involved, typically requiring crafting materials like Veiled Crystals along with Gold. More powerful gear such as Legendary weapons may demand rare materials like Fiend Roses.

It’s important to note that you cannot handpick the Affixes and stats you want when Enchanting an item at an Occultist. Instead, you will be presented with a selection of randomly rolled stats to choose from. You can either accept one of the newly rolled stats or stick with the existing one, but either way, there will be a cost involved. Some of the most sought-after Affixes are quite rare, so accumulating enough Gold and resources to achieve a desired god roll through Enchantment can be quite challenging.
