Hey Xbox Insiders! New Xbox Update Preview in Beta Ring Today

It’s important to note that updates made to preview OS builds include background improvements to ensure quality and stability for Xbox consoles. Release notes will continue to be posted, even if the changes are minimal or behind the scenes, to keep users informed of upcoming updates.

System Update Details

  • OS Version: XB_FLT_2404ZN25398.4068.240327-1930
  • Available: 2 p.m. PT – March 29, 2024
  • Mandatory: 3 a.m. PT – March 30, 2024

Fixes Included

Thanks to feedback from Xbox Insiders and the efforts of Xbox engineers, the following fixes have been implemented in this build:

Game Clubs

  • Fixed an unexpected ‘Like’ tooltip in the Watch area when focus is on the filter.

Home

  • Resolved issues with tiles on Home not navigating as expected, particularly when trying to claim Perks.

Settings – Access Restrictions

  • Addressed the issue where disabling installing apps and games did not behave as expected.

System

  • Various updates to reflect local languages across the console.

Known Issues

While known issues may have been listed in previous Xbox Insider Release Notes, they are being actively investigated. If you encounter any of these issues, please follow the guidance provided and file feedback through Report a Problem.

Audio

  • Intermittent audio issues reported across the dashboard, games, and apps.
    • Troubleshooting: Ensure your TV and equipment have the latest firmware. Contact the manufacturer for assistance if needed.
    • Feedback: If issues persist, submit feedback via Report a Problem under “Console experiences” and “Console Audio Output Issues” with detailed information.

Networking

  • Investigating reports of console network connection delay on boot. Be sure to report this issue immediately via Report a Problem.
    • Workaround: Allow a minute for connection to establish or restart the Xbox. Learn more about restarting here.
