Beloved PS1 Game Possibly Joining PS Plus Classics in April 2024

Beloved PS1 Game MediEvil Coming to PS Plus Premium Classics Lineup in April 2024

Exciting news for PlayStation fans as it seems that the classic PS1 game MediEvil will be joining the PS Plus Premium classics lineup for the month of April 2024, complete with trophies. The discovery of a trophy list for MediEvil on the PSN backend has been making waves, especially since it differs from the trophy set of the PS4 remake.

PlayStation Announcing April 2024’s PS Plus Premium Classics and PS Plus Extra Lineup Soon

The trophy list that was unearthed is for a version of MediEvil on the PS4, leading us to believe that it will be the original PS1 version of the game. MediEvil first graced our screens back in 1998.

Sony is scheduled to officially announce the lineup for its PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogs for April within the coming week. However, due to another leak, we already know that the PS1 classic Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire is set to launch on both the PS4 and PS5 on Tuesday, April 16. It remains to be seen if MediEvil will have a separate release for the PS5 or not, as only the PS4 trophy list has been detected by PSNProfiles. Nonetheless, players will still be able to enjoy the game through backwards compatibility.

While we eagerly anticipate the upcoming lineup reveal, it’s a good idea to check out which games will be bidding adieu to the service.
