Medieval RPG sequel Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is set to launch later this year

Developer Announces Sequel to Popular RPG

Warhorse Studios has revealed the upcoming release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the original medieval action-adventure RPG. Set in 15th Century Bohemia, the game continues the story of Henry of Skalitz as he seeks vengeance for his parents’ murders. This new installment promises an expanded world with bustling cities and a variety of engaging side activities such as blacksmithing and archery.

Focus on Storytelling and Enhanced Combat Mechanics

Despite the vast open-world additions, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will maintain its focus on storytelling, delivering over five hours of cinematic sequences. Players can look forward to new combat mechanics, including the introduction of ranged weapons like crossbows and early firearms. The newly released trailer provides a sneak peek at what’s to come.

Exclusive Release for Current Generation Consoles and PC

Featuring stunning visuals that border on photorealism, the game will be exclusive to current generation consoles such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, as well as PC. Similar to its predecessor, which was known for its high system requirements, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is expected to push modern hardware to its limits.

Developed on the CryEngine game engine, the sequel has the potential to be a technical showcase for modern gaming systems, promising a visually stunning and immersive experience for players.
