Amazon Prime Video has officially renewed the Fallout television show for a second season, indicating that more episodes are in the works. This announcement comes shortly after the successful release of Season 1 on April 10, which garnered praise from fans and critics alike.
We thoroughly enjoyed Season 1 of Fallout and detailed our reasons why in Game Informer’s review. We are eagerly anticipating the return to the wasteland with beloved characters like Lucy, Ghoul, Maximus, and more. Unfortunately, there is no confirmed release date for Season 2 at this time, as the announcement simply revealed that another season is in development with no additional specifics.
Fallout now joins the ranks of other popular Amazon Prime Video series such as The Boys (set to debut a new season on June 13) and Invincible, which recently concluded its second season. The show also adds to the growing list of successful video game adaptations, including HBO’s The Last of Us gearing up for Season 2, Peacock’s Twisted Metal, Netflix’s Arcane, and Netflix’s Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
For those who have not caught up on Fallout yet, Season 1 is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
