That’s right, it’s time for another edition of ‘Let’s Help! Too Many Switch Games Await!’
For a few years now, we’ve been featuring bi-annual Games We Missed round-ups, where our amazing community nominates outstanding Switch games that slipped under our radar. With the eShop bustling with amazing titles every month, it’s simply impossible for us to cover them all.
This is where you come in. You send us your nominations, we sift through them (excluding games we’ve already reviewed), and we showcase the results with comments from the people who submitted the recommendations!
In our last feature in October, you brought to light 28 eShop treasures, such as Pipe Push Paradise, Belle Boomerang, Gravity Circuit, and Mr. Sun’s Hatbox.
But the list doesn’t end there. If there are any Switch games that we haven’t had the chance to review that you believe deserve a shoutout, send us your recommendations (under 100 words, full guidelines below) and we’ll feature the cream of the crop in our next installment. Remember, we won’t be reviewing these games — this is a platform to showcase deserving titles that slipped through the cracks.
If you’re keen on participating, make sure to carefully read the guidelines below on how to submit your recommendations:
Submission Guidelines
- 100-word limit – Keep it concise! Skip the lengthy genre history and deep dive into mechanics. Focus on what makes the game special, its unique qualities, and why it captured your attention.
- One entry per game – Feel free to share your thoughts on multiple games, but avoid duplicates.
- Select games not reviewed on the site – To check for a Nintendo Life review, simply search the game’s name using the search box at the top of the page. If no review exists, and it hasn’t been featured in a previous Reader Recommendations piece, it’s good to go!
How to Submit a Recommendation
- Visit Nintendo Life’s Contact page and choose the subject “Switch eShop Hidden Gems” from the drop-down menu (the link above redirects you). Enter your name, email, and well-crafted message in the appropriate boxes, hit send, and you’re good to go!
If you have any questions regarding the process, feel free to ask in the comments section below. And if you’re not up for a full recommendation, you can always drop suggestions for games you’d love to see featured.
Once again, we won’t be reviewing these games, but with the eShop brimming with new releases weekly, we’re excited to shine a light on the best of the best. Looking forward to your recommendations!
