But every now and then, there comes a number that truly stands out – like the impressive milestone of 40 million players who have embarked on their pirate journey in Sea of Thieves!

Having 40 million players across Xbox, Windows 10, and Steam is a remarkable feat, made possible by our incredible community. Your creativity and adventurous spirit out on the seas continue to amaze and inspire us.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to the team behind Sea of Thieves, who have tirelessly delivered over a hundred free updates since the game’s launch. With Season 12 on the horizon, featuring exciting new additions like throwing knives and the Bone Caller, the sandbox world of Sea of Thieves is set to evolve once again.

We are also thrilled to announce the upcoming launch on PlayStation®5, which will introduce a whole new wave of pirates to our world. The enthusiasm and positivity from our Closed Beta participants have been contagious, and we are eagerly anticipating the arrival of new faces next week.
