The Joker, Voiced By Mark Hamill, Joins MultiVersus

MultiVersus Welcomes the Joker to the Roster with Mark Hamill Returning as Voice Actor

Exciting news for fans of MultiVersus – the game is set to make its grand return on May 28, and a new trailer has revealed that the Joker will be joining the roster. What’s even better is that Mark Hamill will be reprising his role as the Clown Prince of Crime.

While the trailer does not showcase any gameplay, it does set up a dramatic confrontation between Batman, voiced by the late Kevin Conroy in the game, and his long-time nemesis. This moment is sure to be an emotional one for fans of the characters.

This will be the first game to feature both Batman: The Animated Series actors together as their iconic characters since 2018’s Lego DC Super Villains. With Conroy’s passing in 2022, MultiVersus stands as one of the last games to showcase his portrayal of Batman before 2024’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Despite previous hints from Hamill about retiring his Joker role, dataminers discovered Joker’s presence in MultiVersus in 2022, complete with audio files of Hamill’s performance. This suggests that he recorded his lines prior to Conroy’s passing.

Joker is just the first of potentially many new characters to join the existing line-up of fighters in MultiVersus. The game is set to relaunch on May 28 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and fans are eager to see who else will be added to the fray.
