Stunlock Studios has set a definitive release date for the PS5 edition of the vampire-themed RPG V Rising after the game’s successful exit from early access on PC earlier this month. The PS5 version of the game will have a standard edition available, along with a few special editions that will incorporate some or all of the additional content presently accessible to PC gamers.
The V Rising PS5 release date
The PS5 release of V Rising is scheduled for June 11. The console version will feature enhancements to the user interface, although details on these improvements have not been disclosed as of yet, as well as support for the DualSense game controller.
The standard edition of the game will be priced at $39.99 / €39.99, with a 10% discount available for PS Plus members who pre-order. Players will take on the role of a newly-awakened vampire aspiring to become the next Dracula. The adventure can be undertaken solo, in co-op mode, or with persistent online multiplayer.
Two special editions will also be accessible at launch, both of which grant early access to the game beginning on June 6 for five days. The first edition is the Castlevania Edition, priced at $59.99 / €59.99, which includes the Legacy of Castlevania Premium Pack DLC. This DLC can also be purchased separately for $19.99 / €19.99, and it features character customization options and castle decorations inspired by the classic gothic aesthetic of Castlevania:
- Don Alucard’s attire.
- 4 distinct hairstyles.
- 3 different shapeshifting forms: Maria Renard, Soul of the Wolf, and the Flea Man.
- A variety of castle decorations and statues reminiscent of Castlevania.
- A unique saddle for your mount, transforming it into Rowdain’s skeletal steed.
- Two distinctive Castlevania tracks to play as background music in your castle.
The final edition is the Complete Edition for $99.99 / €99.99. In addition to all the features of the Castlevania Edition, players will also receive:
