Cult Of The Lamb Announces Free Local Co-Op Update, Out This August

Devolver Digital Reveals Cult of the Lamb’s ‘Unholy Alliance’ Update

During the Devolver Digital presentation today, Cult of the Lamb unveiled its upcoming free update, ‘Unholy Alliance’, which will introduce local co-op mode and the Goat as a new playable character.

The new co-op feature will allow players to go through the entire campaign in co-op mode and is set to launch on the Switch and other platforms on August 12, 2024. Here’s a preview of what to expect from the update:

“Experience the entire Cult of the Lamb campaign in local co-op, with one player controlling the Lamb and the other playing as the Goat. Enjoy new 2-player versions of existing minigames like fishing and knucklebones, and choose from a variety of corrupted weapons, tarot cards, curses, and relics as you embark on co-op adventures.

The Lamb and the Goat can switch weapons, deal additional damage when fighting side by side, or land a critical hit if their attacks are synchronized. Solo players will also receive a range of new powers and abilities to experiment with.

In addition to the co-op mode, the Unholy Alliance expansion will bring new tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, follower traits, follower quests, and other hidden surprises to uncover!”
