Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers Anime Adaptation Revealed

Developer Arc System Works recently announced the upcoming anime adaptation of its popular 2021 fighting game, Guilty Gear Strive, titled Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers. While a release date has not been confirmed yet, Sanzigen Studios is set to produce the anime. Fans will be excited to know that Sanzigen Studios previously worked on protagonist Sol Badguy’s “Find Your Way” music video in Guilty Gear Strive.

Plot details for Dual Rulers are still scarce, but Arc System Works has confirmed that the anime will be showcased at this year’s Anime Expo 2024 in July.

The announcement for Dual Rulers revealed key talents working on the project, including director Shigeru Morikawa, known for Argonavis the Movie: Axia, series composition by Guilty Gear writer Norimitsu Kaihō, and Seiji Mizushima, famous for Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and Fullmetal Alchemist, as the associate producer.
