I managed to solve today’s Connections puzzle with only one mistake, which was a bit of a relief after struggling with the previous ones. The groups were fairly straightforward, with most of them consisting of simple synonyms. The only slightly trickier group was the purple one, requiring a bit more thought.

Personally, I tackled the green group first, followed by the yellow group. The purple group was the toughest for me, but by focusing on the word “BOND,” I was able to figure out the rest of the answers. How did you fare today? Drop me an email and share your results.

What is NYT Connections?

NYT Connections is a popular word game created by the New York Times. The goal is to identify groups of four items that share a common link. Each group varies in difficulty, with green being the easiest and purple being the most challenging.

One benefit of the game is that you can afford up to four mistakes before it’s game over. Additionally, if you solve the first three groups, you can deduce the answer to the fourth group. The game is available for free on the NYT Games website for both desktop and mobile play.

While it’s more complex than games like Wordle, NYT Connections offers plenty of opportunities to test your word skills. Look out for tricks like homophones and other wordplay that might obscure the answers.
