Bluepoint Games Still Working on Original Title

PlayStation Studio Bluepoint Games has made it clear that their current project is an “original” title. Despite speculation and rumors, the Demon’s Souls remake developer is not working on a Bloodborne remake as some had guessed.

Clarification from Bluepoint Games

Addressing the rumors, head of technology Peter Dalton responded to a fan on X stating, “Nothing has changed since our statement that we are working on an original title. Everything takes time. We are committed to sharpening our skills!”

In a recent Twitter thread, Dalton also showed admiration for FromSoftware after president Hidetaka Miyazaki’s pledge to prevent layoffs at the studio as long as he is in charge.

Stable Future for Bluepoint

Despite recent upheavals in the gaming industry leading to layoffs at multiple first-party studios, Bluepoint Games seems to have remained unaffected. With no reports of layoffs or project cancellations, the studio continues its work on the mystery project.
