Creating a Nintendo Account

If you haven’t set up a Nintendo Account yet, you can easily do so by visiting https://accounts.nintendo.com. By creating a Nintendo Account, you’ll have access to the My Nintendo rewards program where you can earn points by purchasing eligible digital games from Nintendo eShop, using Nintendo apps on your smart device, or simply by signing into Nintendo services like Nintendo eShop.

*In order to purchase download games, download demos, and access free software from Nintendo eShop via the official website, you must have a Nintendo Account linked to your Nintendo Switch console. Make sure your console is registered as the active console for downloads by visiting Nintendo eShop on the desired device at least once. For automatic downloads, your system needs to be updated, connected to the internet, have automatic downloads enabled, and have sufficient storage space.
