The highly anticipated release of Diablo 4 is just around the corner, and Blizzard has been kind enough to give us a taste of what’s to come. The release of the Diablo 4 open beta has had crowds of fans downloading and logging into the online-only game. Understandably, the barely prepped servers have had a hell of a time. For many players, a queue is put in place to keep everything under control, but sometimes you get stuck with the pending message. There are a few simple ways to fix the Diablo 4 pending message and get into the game.
How to fix the Diablo 4 pending message
A number of payers will be faced with the ‘Queued for game – Pending…’ message even after the timer has finished counting down. This can be incredibly irritating, especially after some players have reported waiting up to 120 minutes. If you’re trying to fix the Diablo 4 pending message, there may be a few things you can try to get into the Open Beta weekend.
Reset Diablo 4
It may seem counterproductive after waiting so long in a queue, but it is widely reported that resetting the game will fix the pending message. Not only that, but it has also been shown to reduce wait times for a lot of players. When I found myself stuck with the Diablo 4 pending message, this fix usually worked for me.
Reset you router
When you reset a router, it clears out a lot of residuals left over from previous connections. Resetting the router clears the small memory they have and can open up new gateways. This may allow Diablo 4 to pass through easier to make a cleaner connection to the servers.
Patience is a virtue
It is worth remembering that this weekend is only an open beta. It is not the full release and should not be judged as such. The servers won’t be working at full capacity, so sometimes simply waiting for the Diablo 4 pending message is the best fix. It may just be that there isn’t quite enough space to play. If this issue continues into the final game, it may just become a bigger problem. Until then, though, sit back and hope for the best.
